***EDITORS*** All the Star Trek Discovery Season 0 ("Short Treks") episodes here are MISNUMBERED. According to IMDb, s0e01 is Runaway, s0e02 is Calypso, s0e03 is the just-released Brightest Star; s0e04 won't be out until Jan. The links HERE for "01" are correct, but are the same as for "02" (or mostly so?--I didn't look at all of them), "03" are for the real 02, and "04" are for the real 03. Some other sites are making the same mistakes.
I don't even speak French and usually hate anything with subtitles, but this series literally had my heart racing at certain points. There were some twists I def didn't see coming! lol I recommend this series to anyone who is culturally open-minded and enjoys dystopian future tales.
#Maniac is a unique experience, to say the least. Somewhat between #MrRobot #SlidingDoors #Barry and #Fringe, albeit with a #DarkComedy, or #BlackComedy, narrative and sub-narrative. Set in a Dystopian, modern day society, with references and sequences of a #ParallelUniverse theme, where Emotions and Socioeconomics, including Advertising and Marketing, are the focus of the Human Race, all the while, Technology has taken a back seat. Without a doubt, a Dark Comedy/Drama/Science Fiction, or rather, Fantasy, heavy narrative, which could take several views to get the intended humor and the vast tropes of symbolism in this Revolutionary and Thought-Provoking story, courtesy of #Netflix. Worthy of a #BingeWatch, and am looking forward to Season 2.

Mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester and his assistant, TV's Frank, have trapped a hapless soul (Joel, later Mike) in the vacuum of outer space. With their guinea pig aboard the bone-shaped Satellite of Love, they force upon him experiment after evil experiment from their underground lair. The sinister goal: find a movie so bad that it will break a man's soul, driving him to insanity. Once found, this cinematic weapon would be unleashed upon the world, turning the populace to zombies, and opening the door for Dr. Forrester's omnipotency. With the company of his robot pals Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo, the trio of deep space jesters makes the best of the situation and maintains just enough sanity through wisecracking commentary and an occasional song and dance.
